The company

DPS is an international organisation of experts engaged in claims and risk management services to both the marine and non-marine insurance industries.

DPS treats annually approx. 10.000 cases across 5 segments: Marine (air/sea/land), Industry (Property, Liability, Business Interruption, Contamination), Fruit & Perishables, Legal and Cyber.

DPS employs appr. 100 people with entities in Belgium, China, US and Africa. They also have a worldwide network of over 300 independent agents. They generate a turnover of 15 Mio EUR

JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT

Your job

As Junior Accountant, you will get a lot of responsibilities in a dynamic and international environment. You will work in a team of 4 people and your tasks are the following :

  • Checking and booking the invoices and bank statements;
  • Assisting with the creation of new vendors/clients;
  • Preparing the payments in Isabel;
  • Assisting in the monthly closing

Your profile

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Administration or Accounting;
  • A first experience in a similar role is a real advantage;
  • You speak English and Dutch fluently;
  • You have good knowledge of Excel;
  • You are a true team player;
  • You have a "getting things done" mentality, you take initiative and you can handle deadlines well.
