The key foundation of DPS is to relieve the burden on our clients through a true partnership and transparent (and proactive) communication. We work closely with our clients to ensure that their claims are handled in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
DPS acquired TopExpertise in September 2022. With this established major Dutch player, DPS will further expand and strengthen its already existing expertise in non-marine surveys and claims throughout the Netherlands. TopExpertise has 30+ surveyors in two offices in the Netherlands (Rotterdam and Zwolle). As such, DPS sees the physical expansion throughout the Netherlands as a fundamental step in providing both marine and non-marine services in the Netherlands and from the Netherlands to the rest of the world.
Founded in 2010, TopExpertise specialises in technical loss adjusting and all types of property surveys. The team is active in property, liability, electromechanics, civil engineering and installation claims, particularly in the areas of liability, CAR and Salvage. TOP also provides preventive services such as preliminary surveys, vibration measurements, deformation measurements, risk analysis and supervisory consulting. Meanwhile, DPS has engaged a highly reputable Dutch marine surveyor to carry out and coordinate all types of marine surveys in close coordination with the marine department at headquarters.
In the non-marine sector, DPS now has 50 property and casualty surveyors with experience in a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, retail, logistics, hospitality, construction and pharmaceuticals.
We also offer a wide range of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) solutions, including risk assessment, risk mitigation and loss prevention strategies. These solutions include our unique Total Claims Management (TCM) approach, whereby we investigate and manage all claims under our own risk or within our own captive. As a concrete result, we can easily reduce the total amount of claims the company has to pay, resulting in bottom line savings for the client.
MARINE NL
DPS is delighted to announce that we are starting our own marine branch in the Netherlands with immediate effect. Together with our colleagues from Marine Belgium, we have already carried out many surveys throughout the Netherlands. With the recruitment of experienced Dutch surveyors, DPS MARINE NL will provide our Dutch and international clients with the highest quality services at a local level. Our aim is to strengthen our foothold throughout the Netherlands.
Our services include project cargo, load & stow, prevention (e.g. lashing & securing) and all types of damage. Our surveyors have a proven track record in, for example, damage claims, ship inspections, measurements and tests on board, etc.
